Norma Jean Spears Killingsworth, 90, of Shawnee, died Saturday, March 23, 2019, in Oklahoma City.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at Resthaven Memorial Park with Harriott Leigh officiating under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Norma was born May 14, 1928, in Seminole to William Floyd and Mary Katherine (Stuart) Spears.

She was a graduate of Seminole High School and attended Columbia College and the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated in 1948. She retired from Shawnee Public Schools, where she taught elementary music.

In 1949 she married John Henry Killingsworth.

She lived in Shawnee most of her life, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Thomas Killingsworth.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Susie Killingsworth and Ken Cadaret of Shawnee, four grandchildren: Daniel Cadaret, Andrew and Beth Cadaret, John F. Killingsworth and Katherine Killingsworth, great-granddaughter: Emma Cadaret, sister and brother-in-law: Joy and Leon Pinuel.
