LONE GROVE — An 11-run Lone Grove explosion in the third inning saddled Prague with a 17-9 setback Saturday.

The game was stopped after five innings on the run rule.

Prague finished with 10 hits.

The Red Devils were up 5-1 when Lone Grove came to bat in the bottom of the third.

Cleanup hitter Mason Cooper of Prague blasted a 3-home run in the first inning, then added a run-scoring single in the fourth. He also scored three times.

Jake Shultz added a double and single while teammate Branom Bailey went 3 for 4, all singles.

Prague employed three pitchers — starter Brayden Davis and relievers Trip Davis and Trevor Mills.

Prague, 4-6, will play host to Wellston today.
