There was some movement in the spring sports rankings this week and more is probably coming next week.

McLoud jumped from No. 3 to No. 2 in the 5A slow-pitch rankings. The Lady Redskins have some big wins, but they dropped a 9-2 decision to Tecumseh Tuesday for their first loss of the season. They host 4A No. 3 Stroud Monday in a big game with ranking implications.

Dale's Lady Pirates aren't going anywhere as they remain atop the 4A slow pitch rankings. Dale is 11-2 with their only two losses coming to top five teams in 6A. It won't be easy for the Lady Pirates to stay on top. All but one opponent left on their schedule is ranked.

Prague stayed at No. 6 in the 4A rankings. They had a strong showing this week, scoring 40 runs in a doubleheader sweep over Bethel and Holdenville.

Asher climbed to No. 13 in the Class A rankings this week and they have won all four games this week, averaging 19 runs per game.

In baseball, Dale stayed at No. 3 in 2A, but a 4-3 loss to Cashion and an 8-3 loss to Latta will put that ranking in jeopardy. The Pirates play Latta again Thursday and they have a game against Asher Monday after they conclude the McLoud Tournament to give them a chance to preserve their spot near the top.

Asher has stayed at No. 5 in Class A all year. They are 3-1 in their last four games and their next four games feature a 4A team and three ranked teams.

Tecumseh swept Bethel this week to improve their standing in their district. The Savages are 3-1 in district now and 8-4 overall. Bethel is 2-6 in district and 7-8 overall. Seminole and McLoud are near the bottom of the district with key games coming up to help them improve.

Shawnee got a win over Guthrie this week and they host their tournament Thursday-Saturday.
