HARRAH — Bethel played three tight-knit Thursday games at the Harrah Tournament but came up just short in all three — 13-10 to Blanchard, 3-2 to Norman North and 15-12 to Lexington.
In the first matchup, Blanchard rallied from a 7-3 deficit, including a seven-run fifth inning. Rian Gamble, Shelby Spurgin and Harlie Gregory rolled up three hits apiece. Lila Wade and Gregory had two doubles apiece.
Bethel knotted Norman North at 2-2 with a single run in the top of the fifth, only to have North tally the winning run in the sixth. Both teams finished with eight hits.
Jordyn Zachary, Madison Robertson and Wade doubled.
Bethel recorded 22 hits against Lexington with Zachary homering, Gamble tripling and Wade doubling.
Bailey Henderson went 4 for 4, all singles, Gregory chipped in with three singles. Henderson and Wade knocked in two runs each.
Bethel, 0-5, will be back in action at 4:30 Monday at Harrah.
