SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist has released its 2019 football schedule which includes dates and times of all 11 games. OBU's slate is full of foes from the Great American Conference and features six road and five home contests, including an Oct. 26 Homecoming date.

Season ticket holders will receive 2019 renewal information in early April. The deadline for season ticket renewals is May 31.

In 2019, OBU will host Henderson State (Sept. 7), East Central (Sept. 28), Harding (Oct. 12), Arkansas-Monticello (Oct. 26) and Southwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 9). All games will be played inside Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex on the school's Shawnee campus.

OBU will travel for games at Southern Arkansas (Sept. 14), Southeastern Oklahoma State (Sept. 21), Arkansas Tech (Oct. 5), Ouachita Baptist (Oct. 19), Northwestern Oklahoma (Nov. 2) and Southern Nazarene (Nov. 16).

OBU faces five teams who had winning records, including Ouachita Baptist who last season became the second team to win all 11 conference games in the league's eight-year history. The Bison won their last three games in 2018 to complete a sweep of in-state foes – Northwestern Oklahoma, East Central, Southeastern, SWOSU, and Southern Nazarene.

The Bison begin spring practice on Monday, April 1, with the annual Spring Game set for Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m.
