MEEKER — Budgie Cameron hurled a four-inning one-hitter Monday as Meeker run-ruled Holdenville 10-0.
Cameron didn’t allow a base on balls and notched six strikeouts as Meeker improved to 7-5. The Bulldogs put up nine runs in the bottom of the second inning.
Meeker collected six hits with Raceton Sedlacek, Çaleb Chapman, Dakota Gabbert and Cameron doubling, Cameron had a team-high three runs batted in.
Gabbert was the only Bulldog with two hits.
Meeker was the recipient of three walks and four Holdenville errors. Meeker didn’t commit an error.
Jacob Martin drove in two runs.
Meeker will play Seminole at 4:30 today, then competes in the 66 Conference Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
