PRAGUE – Prague handled Luther with relative ease, winning 9-1 Monday.
The Red Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first inning and added three more runs in the second. Prague put things out of reach late in the game, adding one run in the fifth and three more in the sixth.
Isaac Bloomer led the Red Devils, going 2 for 3 at the plate. Bloomer scored twice and drove in one run.
Dalton Cooper contributed a team-leading two RBIs.
Jake Schultz and Trip Davis recorded one extra-base knock apiece.
Prague walked 10 times in the win and stole seven bases. Mason Cooper and Schultz tied with two each.
Cooper was dealing in three innings of work and struck out five. Cooper threw 33 pitches, 26 going for strikes.
Brayden Davis pitched three innings in relief to earn the save.
Prague (6-8) will entertain Holdenville Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
