Three Tecumseh High School students have been issued citations from the Tecumseh Police Department after breaking into a concession stand Sunday evening or at some point Monday.

According to Tecumseh Police Chief J.R. Kidney, through the Tecumseh Public School system, the three juveniles were identified and confessed to using a rock to break a window in the concession stand and steal candy and soda merchandise.

The concession stand is a facility belonging to the Tecumseh Youth Association (TYSA).

The students and their parents were interviewed and later issued citations for the crime.

According to the TYSA Facebook page, this was the third time in the last year one of their facilities was broken into.

The TYSA is a nonprofit organization that provides athletic programs, facilities and organized sports to the youth of Tecumseh including football, baseball, softball and cheerleading.
