BETHANY — Jayden Shafer tossed a five-inning no-hitter Monday, propelling Tecumseh to an 11-0 whitewash of Bethany.

Shafter struck out four and walked three as the Savages improved to 17-6. Shafer threw 78 pitches, 48 of which were strikes.

Kane Ainesworth spearheaded Tecumseh’s 13-hit arsenal at 3 of 4, including a home run and two doubles. Aineswroth drove in three runs and scored three times.

Also doubling for Tecumseh were Gage Boatman, Peyton Cooper and Caleb Kelsey. Kelsey and Shafer were both 3 for 4. Shafer finished with four runs batted in while Kelsey scored three times.

Cooper knocked in three runs.

Tecumseh will entertain Bethany at 5 p.m. today. The Savages will travel to Seminole Wednesday for a 4:30 matchup.
