TECUMSEH — What a difference a day makes.

After being no-hit by Tecumseh’s Jayden Shafer in an 11-0 loss Monday, Bethany blitzed the Savages 18-2 Tuesday. Like Monday’s game, Tuesday’s matchup was a five-inning run-rule affair.

Bethany was never pressed after tallying five runs in the top of the first inning.

Tecumseh employed four hurlers, beginning with starter Tristin Anthony. Anthony, after going just 1/3 of an inning, was followed by Tyler Thompson, Colby Trammell and Jake Trice.

Tecumseh was guilty of four errors, leading to six unearned runs.

The Savages scored their two runs in the bottom of the third. Shafer lashed a run-scoring triple and Caleb Kelsey drove in a run with a double.

Kane Ainesworth was Tecumseh’s only multiple hitter with two singles. The Savages finished with six hits.

Gray Adams of Bethany went 3 for 4 with two home runs and seven runs batted in. Teammate Payton Tolle homered, doubled and knocked in four runs. Bethany finished with 12 hits.

The Savages, 17-7, will take on Seminole at 4:30 today at Seminole State, then entertain Elk City at 5 p.m.Thursday.
