DALE – Sara Lock was one hit away from the cycle in Dale’s 18-7 victory over Prague Tuesday evening. Lock started the game with an opposite-field home run. Delanie Manning followed with another roundtripper.

After the first inning, Dale led 4-0 and was in command the rest of the way.

Prague managed three runs in the top of the second, but the 4A top-ranked Lady Pirates answered with six runs of their own.

Lacey Savage led the Lady Pirates with two home runs and four RBIs.

Skyler Thompson hit Dale’s fifth home run of the contest.

Prague’s Demi Manning hit a homer and doubled off her older sister in the loss.

Jaycee Johnson added one double for the Lady Red Devils.

Both teams will play in the Dale Festival at FireLake starting Thursday.

Dale (21-4) plays Mustang at 4 and Varnum at 6:40 p.m. Thursday. The Lady Pirates turn around and play Pocola and Moore Friday.

Class 4A No. 6 Prague (15-4) plays Union at 12 and Hinton at 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
