• Support local artists: The 10th annual free-family Arts Trek is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art, 1900 W. MacArthur St.

• Run for fun: Shawnee Forward Business Alliance's 2018-19 Leadership Class project this year is a 5K fun run called Hit the Bricks; participants will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Pottawatomie County Oklahoma Museum & Historical Society — at the Santa Fe Depot, 614 E. Main St.

• Go to a SEFF event: Redbud City Night on the Bricks will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Municipal Auditorium, 400 N. Bell. Free pizza will be served to the first 1,200 attendees while musical entertainers perform.

• Go to the theater: Shawnee Little Theatre will present the comedy farce "Noises Off" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the community theater, 1829 Airport Rd. Tickets for the show are available online at shawneelittletheatre.com or at the SLT box office Monday through Saturday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at 405-275-2805. Season tickets for the new 2019-2020 season will be on sale during the run of the show.

• Take part in discussion over hate crimes: The monthly meeting of Indivisible Shawnee is 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shawnee Public Library. There will be representatives of several faiths to address the recent spate of hate crimes directed at religious groups. Everyone will be invited to participate in this community conversation.
