STROUD — Meeker, spurred by 10 hits and 10 walks, trampled Stroud 16-3 Friday night.
Stroud was also guilty of five errors, leading to eight unearned runs.
Cade Patterson, who knocked in a game high four runs, posted Meeker’s only extra-base hit with a double.
Jacob Martin was 4 of 5 and drove in three runs.
Budgie Cameron and Patterson notched two hits each.
Cameron also got the pitching win, allowing three runs (one earned) and five hits in five innings. Jacob Sellers, who hurled the final inning, didn’t give up a hit and whiffed one.
Cam Holt and Martin swiped two bases each.
Meeker, 13-7, will go to Prague Monday for a 5 p.m. game, then entertain Bartlesville at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Meeker will compete in the Pioneer Tournament beginning Thursday at Okemah.
