A Shawnee man is jailed on a first-degree manslaughter complaint after allegedly causing an accident that killed one and injured another Saturday morning at Federal and Harrison Street.

According to Shawnee Police Department Cpl. Vivian Lozano, that accident occurred about 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Christian Key, 25 and Tanya Wolfe, 46 were occupants of northbound vehicle on Harrison Street when Key, the driver, Lozano said, went left to center and hit a vehicle head-on being driven by Donald Morgan, 62.

Lozano said Morgan was traveling southbound on Harrison when the collision took place. Morgan was treated on the scene by first responders and released.

Key and Wolf were rushed to St. Anthony Hospital Shawnee, where Wolf was pronounced dead, Lozano said.

Key was treated for his injuries, released and then arrested by Shawnee police on the manslaughter complaint. Formal charges have not yet been filed.

Lozano said Key's case is in preliminarily review with the Pottawatomie County District Attorney's office.
