BARTLESVILLE – Shawnee scored five runs in the second inning and held off Bartlesville late to win 10-7 Monday evening.

The Wolves totaled 14 hits in the win, with Nick Bowlan leading the club, going 3 for 4 with one run scored.

Scout Cawvey, went 2 for 3 with four RBIs in the leadoff role.

Austin Gonzales went 2 for 3 with a double. Gonzales drove in two runs and scored twice.

Jacob Hill, Carson Payne, and Austin Wood registered two hits apiece.

Payne pitched a complete game. In the 93-pitch outing, Payne gave up two earned runs and walked one.

Shawnee (13-15) hosts Edmond Memorial Thursday. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. The Wolves will end the regular season with a home contest against Edmond North Friday.
