ASHER – The Indians are one win from the state tournament with wins over Oilton and Kiowa Thursday afternoon.

Asher steamrolled Oilton 14-1 in the first game of the day.

Jake Dobbs was perfect at the plate going 4 for 4 with a double and four runs batted in.

Lead-off hitter Austin Custar went 2 for 4 with a double.

Bryson Martin pitched a five-inning complete game and struck out seven.

In the second game of the afternoon, Asher whipped Kiowa 11-3.

Patch Hamilton hit a solo homer for his area-leading ninth of the season.

Custar went 2 for 4 with an RBI.

Dylan Williamson went 1 for 3 and legged out a triple.

Trevor Martin threw 5 2/3 innings and struck out 11 to pick up the win.

Dobbs pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief.

Asher will play the winner of Kiowa-New Lima Friday at 3 p.m.
