Returning from Disney World and completing their 2019/2020 season, the Rising Star Gymnastics athletes returned form the AAU National Championships with plenty of medals around their neck.

Over 2,000 students from various levels, ages, and states competed at the ESPN Center in Florida. Rising Star students had an impressive showing. Allison Radcliffe, Maddilyn and Addison Taron, Victoria Payne and Abby Modlin attended. The top showings were Victoria Payne, Level 3 placing 2nd all around with a 37.625, 3rd on Valut, Beam, and Floor exercise. Abby Modlin came home balance beam champion once again, this time at Level 4 with a 9.675 beam routine, 2nd on Beam and floor and 3rd on Bars. She finished 2nd all around with a 37.275. Level 4 athlete Addison Taron came home with a 1st place bar routine also of a 9.675. Various other medals were received for 4th- 10th place.

All together, five gyms from Oklahoma attended with over 60 athletes representing Oklahoma at the various levels and ages. Next year, the AAU National gymnastics championships will be in Savannah Georgia.
