The Shawnee Public Library has families with children covered with a variety of summertime activities taking place throughout July at the library.
Start the month off with Science Monday, at 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, as learners in kindergarten through second grade will explore different areas of science in a monthly event.
Story Time, geared to ages 2 and a half to 5, takes place at 10:30 a.m. on each Tuesday during July. It includes stories, music, rhymes and more early literacy activities.
And Story Time goes on the road at 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday, with a weekly visit to Shawnee Mall with stories in the Center Court.
Registration is not required to attend any of the events.
