The Shawnee Public Library presents an afternoon of bluegrass music with the Flat Mountain Folk Family Band in a concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in Rooms A and B of the library.

The family band is made up of Ellie, age 9, Nate, age 11, and their big brother Jake, age 18. They’ll share the story of how they became a band, introduce young listeners to books that inspired them and perform bluegrass and country songs.

All ages are invited and registration is not required to attend.
