The Tecumseh Public Library invites local children and their families to its Summer Learning Party, the finale to this year’s Summer Learning Program, from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.

This event is a chance for readers to pick up awards and medals for their efforts this summer. There also will be special treats and other prizes among a variety of activities for those in attendance.

No advance registration is required to attend.

This event is geared to ages 11 and under. Teens ages 12 to 17 are invited back to the library at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, for “It’s a Wrap,” the conclusion to the teen Summer Learning Program. It’s both a class on making wrap sandwiches, as well as distribution of awards and prizes for this summer.
