A report released Tuesday by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a Tecumseh man died from injuries he suffered in a Seminole County accident.

The accident occurred about 12:20 a.m. Monday on NS 3520, one mile west of Seminole.

The patrol said a 2007 Dodge pickup, driven by an unknown driver, was northbound on the county road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

A passenger in that truck, Randall Hurst, 58, Tecumseh, was pronounced dead by EMS personnel at the scene from head injuries, the OHP reports.

Trooper David Brown's report shows seat belts were not in use. The driver's condition at the time of the crash and cause of the accident remain under investigation, the patrol said.
