Donnie London of Shawnee, Oklahoma was born on July 7, 1941, to Rolen and Evelyn (Luper) London in Oklahoma City. On Sept, 5, 2019, surrounded by his wife and three daughters, Donnie went home to his Lord and Savior at the age of 78 years.

Donnie has lived in this area for most of his life attending school in Meeker. On June 15, 1962, Donnie and Pat Sherwin were united in marriage. According to Donnie, they spent a wonderful 58 married years together. According to Pat, it was 57 years of a loving marriage. Donnie loved his family, especially his girls and grandchildren. Donnie and Pat were always traveling to visit their family for various sporting events. He was also known as Mr. Fix It because he loved helping everyone with any project. He loved his tools. Donnie was very proud of his 12 years in the military serving the United States. His family, including his grandchildren, will remember him reading his Bible. He also loved his Immanuel Baptist Church family where he was an active member. Donnie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Left to cherish the memory of Donnie are his wife Pat London of the home; daughters, Kim and husband Randy Trussell of Arlington, Texas, Kathy and husband Kevin Mailot of Tulsa, Krystal and husband Robb Baldwin of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Connor and wife Christine Trussell, Jess Trussell, Spencer Trussell, Sarah Mailot, Jacob Mailot, Jack Baldwin, Luke Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Trussell with one on the way; brother, Chris London of Palisade, Colorado; along with numerous other family and friends.

Family that have passed before Donnie are his parents, Rolen and Evelyn London; brother, Ronnie London and step mother Virginia London.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee with Dr. Todd Fisher and Dr. Shawn Crawley officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Immanuel Baptist Church building fund.
