Junior Tatum Sparks went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three runs in the opener. Hallie Wilson, who tripled and singled, also scored three times.

Carly Torbett posted two doubles and freshman Anneca Anderson had a 2-bagger.

Pitching starter Baylie Enright earned the win by allowing one run and one hit in 5 2/3 innings. She fanned seven. Anderson didn’t give up a run or hit while striking out four in 1 1/3 innings.

In the nightcap, Sparks and Anderson homered. Sparks also singled, scored three times and drove in three runs.

Stormee Reed and Torbett added two singles apiece.

Anderson and Reed combined for a five-inning one-hitter.

Shawnee wasn’t so fortunate Monday, dropping a 7-0 decision at Jenks.

SHS finished with just three hits —singles from Kali Kasterke, Sparks and Torbett.

Shawnee, 12-17, will play host to Carl Albert at 5:30 Thursday, then travel to Norman Monday.
