Shawnee dropped a 24-26, 25-16, 20-25, 19-25 decision to visiting Carl Albert Monday night.

“Our defensive specialist, Isabelle Conley, and our libero, Abby Mahaffey, both played great defense and served well,” Shawnee coach Julie Holland said. “We dug ourselves some holes in the first and fourth sets and couldn’t catch back up.”

Shawnee’s Brooklyn Fluke recorded 17 kills, two aces and one block. Bailee McIntosh had seven kills and 18 assists.

Elise Diamond posted 19 assists, two aces and two kills, while Tieryn Taylor and Kylie Mikish finished with two blocks apiece.

Shawnee will travel to El Reno Thursday. Action will begin at 5 p.m.

The Lady Wolves will learn their regional pairing at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
