MEEKER — Propelled by a 47-carry, 313-yard rushing effort, Meeker upended Chandler 30-22 in a Lincoln County shootout Friday night.

Caden Wolford of Meeker led all rushers with 163 yards on 22 carries, including a 59-yard scamper to end the scoring. Wolford also scored from 5-yards out in the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Jacob Martin of Meeker hit 11 of 19 passes (2 interceptions) for 137 yards, including a 17-yard scoring toss to Jarrett Marks and a 7-yard TD to Dakota Gabbert. Martin also ran 11 yards for Meeker’s first touchdown and gained 105 yards on 14 carries.

Gabbert caught five passes for 32 yards. Budgie Cameroon caught for 44 yards.

Chandler scored all of its points in the third quarter on a 7-yard reception by Darian Mahan, a Spencer Clagg 3-yard run and a Dylan McKinney 6-yard run.

Chandler was limited to 51 yards rushing on 12 attempts. Kaden Jones was 10 of 22 through the air for 156 yards.

Meeker failed on all five of its extra-point attempts.

Meeker, 3-3 overall, went 2-1 in 2A-2. The Bulldogs travel to Okemah Thursday night.

Chandler dropped to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in 2A- 2. The Lions will be at Prague Thursday night.
