Carol Ann Freeman, age 11, of South Rock Creek, was carried by Angels thru the Gates of Heaven and delivered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019.

Carol Anne Freeman, age 11, of South Rock Creek, was carried by Angels thru the Gates of Heaven and delivered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019.

She was born on May 18, 2008, in Shawnee, where she was adopted by Kevin and Angela Freeman.

Carol was raised in Tecumseh and South Rock Creek.

Since the age of 2 ½ years old she has battled the genetic disorder known as Late Infantile Batten Disease. She was active earlier in life and loved to laugh, was very funny and loved playing with her cell phones. Carol loved her siblings and family very much and was especially close to her sisters, Jazzy and Gracie and her Papa Delbert. She will be dearly missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Jacklynn Wallace and Jasmine “Jazzy” Freeman.

Those left to cherish her sweet memories are her parents, Kevin and Angela (Annanders) Freeman of the home; four sisters, Baylee St. Clair of Shawnee, Makenze Freeman of Stroud, Gracie Freeman of Shawnee, and Tynlee Freeman of Shawnee; three brothers, Brandon St. Clair of Shawnee, Billy Wallace of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Zayden Freeman of Shawnee; grandparents, Doug and Judy Freeman of Porum, Oklahoma, Delbert and Patricia Phillips of Shawnee, and Mike and Marilyn Annanders of Tecumseh; her loving family at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany; and many loving friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, and from 1 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3, and continue through service time.

Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 4, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
