A woman was injured in a motorcycle collision on State Highway 102 in Pottawatomie County Tuesday, Nov. 19 at approximately 4:21 p.m. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

In their report, the OHP said Carolyn J. Hill, 56, of Ada, Oklahoma was traveling southbound downhill on her 2008 Harley Davidson on State Highway 102 , about 0.2 miles south of East 1230 Road when she attempted to brake, lost control and struck the ground.

The report said Hill left the roadway to the right, came to a stop on the road facing southbound and was transported to OU Medical Hospital in Oklahoma City by REACT EMS.

Hill, the report said, had injuries to her right arm, right leg and head, but was admitted in good condition.

According to the OHP, Hill's condition of driving was normal, but the cause of the collision was unsafe speed and an obstructed view.

The report said the weather was clear, the roadway was dry and Hill was wearing her helmet.
