Robert “Bobby” Harvey Greenlee, 65, of Norman, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
A celebration of life services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, at Sunny Lane Funeral Home & Cemetery in Del City. Memorials may be made to nationalmssociety.org.
Robert was born May 29, 1954, in Shawnee to Lavern and Eula (Day) Greenlee.
He graduated from Tecumseh High school in 1972 and later attended the University of Oklahoma. Robert worked as a Federal Civil Service employee for over 30 years and spent the last 11 years at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City.
Robert was a veteran of the Air Force and Air Force Reserves with 33 years of service before retirement of Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt). During his time in the Air Force and stationed in Osan Air Force Base, South Korea he married Kim Yong Min.
Robert loved all things history, classic literature and western movies. He enjoyed working with his hands and creating furniture. He was a talented artist with a creative eye. He spent most of his weekends tinkering and creating new projects. He was a selfless, soft-spoken and loving family man.
Robert is survived by his wife, Yong Min Greenlee, his son Robert Sean Greenlee, daughter-in-law Julie Greenlee, two grandchildren Graham and Emersyn, his sister Corlyss Bailey of Tecumseh; brother and sister-in-law Jim and Debbie Greenlee of Skiatook, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lavern and Eula Greenlee of Tecumseh and Sister LaDonna Epperson of Kingston, Oklahoma.
