Tecumseh resident Mary Aline Robbins, 83, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, in Shawnee.

Tecumseh resident Mary Aline Robbins, 83, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, in Shawnee.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, at Cross Connections Church (formerly Oak Park Church of God) with JoAnn Kirkhom officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Mary was born Aug. 23, 1936, in Seminole to John Sylvester Thoma and Mary AnnLee (Hyatt) Thoma. She attended Prague schools.

On March 23, 1960, she married Leon H. Robbins in Maud. She spent much of her life as a housewife and homemaker.

She was a longtime member of Oak Park Church of God where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and talking on the phone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson: Dondy Robbins, a sister: Norma Scott, brother: Sylvester, Jimmie, and Raymond Thoma.

Survivors include sons: Jackie Robbins of Shawnee and Lester Robbins and wife Laura of Asher; four grandchildren: Kinya Roberts, DeJeanna Kotalo, Kelsey Robbins, and Kent Manny Kennedy; six grandchildren; sisters: Reba Searcy of Oklahoma City, JoAnn Kirkhom of Wellston, and AnnLee Hopkins of Enid; brothers: Harrel Thoma of Seminole, Henry Thoma and wife Mary of Prague, and Johnny Thoma and wife Donna of Prague; brother-in-law: James Scott; sister-in-law: Carol Thoma, Judy Thoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
