PAOLI – Patch Hamilton poured in 22 points and grabbed five rebounds Tuesday night as the Class A 11th-ranked Asher Indians crushed Paoli, 64-24.

Joining Hamilton in double figures was Mike McDonald with 10. Trevor Martin followed with nine points and five boards for Asher and teammate Juston Melton tacked on six points to go with five rebounds.

The Indians, 10-2 on the season, posted a 14-4 first quarter and then went on a 20-3 second-quarter scoring splurge in building a 64-24 halftime cushion. Asher then outscored Paoli by a 17-4 count in the third to make it 51-11 heading into the fourth.

Taking a break for the holidays, Asher won't resume play until Jan. 7 when they host Class B third-ranked Varnum. The Indians will also play in the Earlsboro Tournament, Jan. 9-11.
