A Tuttle man was taken to OU Medical Center after a collision on State Highway 9 west of Earlsboro Friday, Jan. 10 around 8:29 p.m.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Chance Charton, 34, was driving westbound on State Highway 9 in his 2011 Ford F150 when he departed the roadway and hit a ditch.
Charton was taken to OU Medical Center In Oklahoma City by REACT in good condition with leg and head injuries, OHP said.
The report said Charton's driving condition was apparently normal and the cause of the crash was speeding on a wet roadway.
OHP said the car was equipped with seat belts, but not in use, the airbags deployed, the weather was rainy and the roadway was wet.
The OHP report said troopers were assisted by the Pottawatomie COunty Sheriff's Office, Earlsboro Police Department, Earlsboro Fire Department and REACT.
