MEEKER — Prague’s girls broke open a tight matchup with a 25-10 fourth-quarter splurge to sock Meeker 61-40 Friday night.

Taylor Hodges, Prague’s leading scorer with 22, canned three of her four 3-point field goals in the fourth quarter. Adisyn Auld, who netted 19 points, also notched two 3-pointers in the final quarter.

Diana Manning had 12 points as Prague, ranked 11th in Class 3A, improved to 12-2.

Manning was 4 of 4 from the free-throw line as Prague went 14 of 17. Auld was 5 of 6 and Hodges was 4 of 5.

Lexi Lopez led Meeker with 14 points, followed by Madison Hedge with 13. Lopez knocked down two treys and teammate Callie Sellers added one.

McLoud fell to 6-8.

Boys

Prague 58, Meeker 38

The Red Devils chalked up nine field goals from 3-point range.

Nate Lester had four of the 3-pointers en route to 18 points. Trip Davis, Prague’s top scorer with 19, had two treys.

Teammates Colby Smith and Isaiah Bias collected 12 and 10 points respectively.

Prague (3-8) led 35-16 at the break.

Caleb Chapman was Meeker’s high scorer with nine.

Prague’s squads will test Meeker again Monday at the 66 Conference Tournament at McLoud. The boys will tip off at 5:20 with the girls to follow at 6:40.
