NOBLE — Nine Tecumseh girls scored Friday in a 68-48 shellacking of Noble, then the Tecumseh boys followed suit as 11 players scored in an 82-56 rout of the hosts.

For the Lady Savages, Taylor Mansell had a very productive night with nine points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Kenzli Warden was Tecumseh’s high scorer with 16. Tawny Billy put in 13 points, including 4 of 4 from the free-throw line.

Schantel Evans, a sophomore, collected nine points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

Warden notched two treys. Tecumseh hit 26-of-57 field goals, including 22 of 40 from 2-point range.

“It took awhile to get going, but we played very well starting about halfway through the second quarter,” Tecumseh coach Eldon Gentry said.

Boys

Tecumseh, ranked 18th in Class 4A, was never threatened after jumping out to a 20-6 lead after one quarter.

Senior Kainan Ryan spearheaded Tecumseh’s offense with 26 points, including two 3-point field goals.

Emet Longhorn, a senior, strung together 13 points, including three treys, and Jacob Green came in with nine points.

Tecumseh (10-2) will entertain Mt. St. Mary’s Tuesday night.
