Kennedy Gregory and Parker Stevenson combined for 35 points as the Bethel Lady Wildcats defeated the North Rock Creek Lady Cougars, 62-42, Saturday night.

BETHEL ACRES – Kennedy Gregory and Parker Stevenson combined for 35 points as the Bethel Lady Wildcats defeated the North Rock Creek Lady Cougars, 62-42, Saturday night.

Gregory tallied 18 points and Stevenson finished with 17. Teammate Kelsie Wood followed with 14 points and Laney O’Rorke chipped in six for Bethel.

Jayden Haney paced North Rock Creek, 4-12 on the season, with 12 points while Olivia Stacy and Jazzy Miles tacked on six points each in a losing effort.

The Lady Wildcats, 11-7, raced out to a 20-6 lead through one quarter, settled for a 37-24 halftime advantage and then went on a 13-6 run through the third in increasing the lead to 50-30.

Boys

Bethel 53, North Rock Creek 41

Drae Wood tossed in 13 points and Jesse Tucker added 10 as the Bethel Wildcats knocked off the North Rock Creek Cougars by 12 on Saturday.

Bethel, 12-6, also received scoring help from John Gordon with nine and Devin Acklin with eight.

Jamarian Jenkins paced North Rock Creek with a game-high 14 points and Diego Garcia chipped in 13. Jordan Coody was next with seven points.

The win capped a perfect 3-0 week for the Wildcats who will play at Jones tonight.

North Rock Creek, 8-10, is at home with Mt. St. Mary tonight.
