Delbert L "Dale" Osteen
Macomb - Delbert L. Osteen passed away January 7, 2021. He was 72. Delbert (known as Dale) was born on January 13, 1948 at Burnet, Texas to Juel and Johnnie Osteen. He graduated at Arroyo Grande High School in California in 1966. He met the love of his life Linda and they were married on December 18, 1970 in Bakersfield, California. Dale was in the United States Air Force for 14 ½ years and attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He served in many bases in the U.S., Beale, AFB, Bergstrom, and Randolph, also bases overseas in Germany, Thailand and Okinawa. Dale loved carpentry work. He was very thoughtful and meticulous in his work. He built two of his own homes. He loved working on his property and cut and provided wood for his home and loved gardening. Dale had a heart for people and enjoyed helping and volunteering as much as he could. He loved children. Dale is survived by his wife, Linda of Tribbey, OK; brothers, Bob, W.J., Ken, Don and twin Elbert; and sister, Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Evangelistic Center Church with Pastor Noah Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 9612 S.
