Shawnee - William "Billy" Ray Factor, 59, passed away on January 21, 2021 in Shawnee, OK. He was born in Chicago, IL to Eastman Factor and Winona (Heath) Factor. He attended St Benedict Catholic School and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1979. Billy met the love of his life, Penny Wilson while working at Sonic in 1978. They were married on August 4, 1984 at St. Benedicts Church. They have one daughter, Nicole. Billy is a member of the Hvteyievlke (Newcomer) band with the Seminole Nation Tribe.
Billy worked at Allen Bradley(TDK) for 24 years and the Citizen Pottawatomie Nation for 9 years.
Growing up in Shawnee, Billy enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping. In his spare time, Billy loved to watch sports especially if it involved the Oklahoma Sooners or any Chicago professional team. One of the happiest days in his life was watching the Chicago Cubs win the World Series in 2016.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, sister Victoria McGann, nephew Marshall Dent.
He is survived by his wife, Penny of Shawnee, and daughter Nicole of Edmond. 4 sisters, Karen and Larry Fullbright of Meeker; Pamela and Mike Gettle of Shawnee, Nannette Hazelwood of Shawnee, Brenda Tingler and fiancé Danny Oliver of Stokesdale, NC, 4 brothers, Michael Factor of McAlester, OK, Glenn Factor of Birnamwood, WI, Matthew Factor of Clintonville, WI, and Mitchell and Laura Factor of Keshena, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, January 30th at 10:00 AM at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Shawnee, OK. Social distancing and mask protocol will be followed at the services.
During the 7th inning stretch of the Chicago Cubs 2021 Opening Day game, tip your hat and raise your drink because Billy will be celebrating from the best seat in the house.
