Beverly Jo Davis
Shawnee - Beverly Jo Davis (Fuller) passed from this life Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Shawnee, OK. She was born October 1, 1953 Shawnee, OK to Leroy and Evelyn Fuller (King). She attended Shawnee Public Schools.
She married Ernest Dell Davis on February 7, 1969. They had four children together whom she took great pride in and was very protective of them. She worked at the Shawnee News-Star for several years, and then was a stay at home mom.
Beverly was a feisty and strong-willed woman. She would do anything for any of her children and would stand against anyone or anything to protect them. Through all the good and bad times, she and her husband Ernest Davis made it work all the way until the end.
When she was a young mother she was a Blue Bird and Girl Scout Troop leader. Her favorite vacation was camping at Turner Falls with her family. She was also tribal member of the Muscogee Creek Nation and a Catholic.
Beverly loved music and going to concerts. She also enjoyed to read especially scary books. She loved animals and even had a possum and a raccoon. She spent her time volunteering at schools on field trips and being the home room mother. She also started volunteering at local churches and food pantries recently.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Evelyn Fuller; brother David Fuller; sister Karen Fuller, and nephew Scotty Fuller.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Davis; daughter Angelia Marie Steele and fiancé Shane Forshey; sons Brian Dell Davis and wife Leslie Davis, Ernest David Davis and fiancé Whitney Hobbs, and Michael Wayne Davis; sister-in-law Jacquetta Fuller; niece Tara Fuller; aunt Louis Fullbright; grandchildren Kristen Marie Davis-Treat, Julian Davis, Kobe Davis, Kyler Davis, Jazmine Mink, MacKinzie Mink, Jessie Mink, Christopher Smith, Tyler Smith, Rylan Wacoche, Summer Wacoche, and Harley Wacoche; and several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
