Gregory Dale Beesley
Tecumseh - Gregory Dale Beesley passed away on March 22, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born July 31, 1959 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Ralph dale Beesley and Wilma Jean Sherman Beesley.
Growing up, Gregory attended Sacred Heart Elementary in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and graduated in 1977 from Sapulpa High School in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. In February of 1978, Gregory joined the Navy. In December of 1988 he joined the OG&E workforce as a Lineman, then became a High Voltage Specialist until he retired in May of 2016.
Gregory married Jeanne Sidlowski on October 22, 2011.
Gregory is an originating founding member of the Forsaken Few Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed working on old cars and trucks, finding bargains on tools at pawn shops, renovating homes, carpentry, and fishing. He was an OSU fan, enjoyed baseball, tennis, and was a Little League Coach.
Some of his fondest vacations was going to his maternal grandparents, Victor and Iva Sherman, Lake Grand property. His proudest moments in life were joining the Navy, having many long term friendships that lasted 30+ years, and most of all his children and grandchildren.
Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Dale Beesley, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Gregory survived by his wife Jeanne Sidlowski Beesley; son Stephen Beesley and spouse Codie; son Victor and spouse Casey; daughter Tamaryn; sister Victoria Beesley King and spouse Robert King of Grove, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren Zoe, Travis, Gunner, Zane, Zeric, Owen, Annleigh, Brandon, and Amanda; five nieces; two nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on April 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Life Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
