Don was born December 15, 1956 at Eglin Air Force Base in Valparaiso, Florida and died in Neenah, Wisconsin on July 12, 2021 at 64 years of age. Don resided in McLoud, Oklahoma with his wife Jan. He was taken from us very suddenly.
He was raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Don joined the Air Force at age 17 and spent five years in the service where he met and married his wife Jan on August 1, 1975. When his time in the Air Force expired, he moved to Oklahoma where Jan's family resided. They were happily married for 45 years. Don was a very hard worker and enjoyed hunting and fishing in what little free time he had and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Jan, two daughters, Amanda Storck and her husband Craig, Cara Swanson and her husband Erik and his wonderful grandchildren Isabella and Carson, two sisters, Cheryl Bennis and Cheron Heitzinger and her husband Doug, brothers Danny Norgrove and Art Norgrove and his wife Yvonne, Sister-in-Law Sandy Norgrove, as well as many other brothers in laws, stepbrothers, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his father Franklin Rogers, his mother, Maisie Norgrove and his brother David Norgrove.
A private memorial service will be held on Friday, July 23 at Dora Cemetery in Konawa, OK at 10 a.m.
