Anita June Ramseyer passed from this life on September 26, 2021. A was born January 6, 1937 in Shawnee, OK to Richard and Marie Blackburn (Hiedinger). She attended Shawnee High School.

One of Anita's greatest achievements were becoming a licensed respiratory therapist. Once licensed she worked at the Shawnee Medical Center for 37 years. Her other achievements were owning many rental properties and her farm which had been her dream.

Anita loved to garden, read, working on the rent houses, and raising chickens. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving.

Some of Anita's proudest moments was buying her first home and the births of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was loved by many and was a joy to work with for many. Anita was one of a kind and was always smiling.

She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Marie Blackburn; sisters Jackie Brooks and Joyce Post; and grandson Tyler Hathcock.

She is survived by her son Tony Hathcock of Shawnee, OK; son Todd Ramseyer of Shawnee, OK; daughter Kelli Thomas of Shawnee, OK; sister Carole Howeth of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren Justin Hathcock of Shawnee, OK, Kiri Wright of Shawnee, OK, Zeth Thomas of Shawnee, OK, and McKenzie Ramseyer; great grandchildren Tanner Hathcock, Jackson Hathcock, Ryker Wright, and Stella Thomas; and her many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2PM at Resthaven Funeral Home.
