DeLoris Page

Shawnee - DeLoris Jane Page met her Savior face to face when she passed away peacefully on October 6, 2021 at her home in Shawnee with her family by her side.

She was born on October 8, 1947 to Carlton Richard Roper and Marjorie Lamon Roper in Shawnee. Her father was a seismograph driller and during her early elementary years, her family lived in many small Oklahoma towns. They returned to Shawnee during middle school, and she graduated from Shawnee High School in 1965. She married David H. Page on October 30, 1965 at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee.

She went to work for Federal National Bank in 1969 and retired as Vice President of Human Resources in 2017 after 48 years of service. She cared very much for her bank family and considered many of them her closest friends.

DeLoris was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was active in their Good Shepherd ministry, as well as the children and youth departments when her children were involved. She loved her Lord and her family. Some of her best times were spent with them at their place on Lake Texoma. She enjoyed traveling with good friends, Jerry and Sherill Ball, and enjoyed weeks at St. John's, one of her favorite places to visit.

She enjoyed every dance and piano recital, wresting matches, soccer, baseball, basketball, and football games of her children and grandchildren until her health prohibited it.

She is preceded in death by her parents and an aunt, Ora Nell Surratt of Longview, Texas. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David, of 55 years, daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Jeff Brown of Shawnee, son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Rachel Page of Durango, Colorado and three grandchildren, Janie Brown, Austin Brown, and Taylor Page. She is also survived by brother-in-law Jim and Barbara Page of Wellston, sister-in-law Marcia and Carl Palmer of Corpus Christi, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 11 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church's Building Fund.
