Betty Liddell, age 88, of Norman, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2020.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1932, to Jesse and Lula Read. Betty grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life in high school. They were married a few years later and had two children, Suzanne and Robby.
Betty had several different jobs, phone operator being one, until after nine long years she had her first child and was a homemaker from then on. She was the true definition of homemaker. She created the most fun, loving and beautiful life for her family. She took care of everyone in her life and made everyone feel important.
She adored her husband, cherished her children and grandchildren, and loved her nieces, nephews and many friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband and son, father, mother and brother.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Kelly Rose; sisters-in-law, Doris Dahl and Jean Liddell; daughter-in-law, Leslie Liddell; grandchildren, Katie and Nate Kain, Luke Rose, Jenny and Joseph Hernandez, Isabella Rose, Ashley Liddell, Landon Liddell, Seth Liddell, Noah Liddell; and great grandchildren, Emery and Behr Hernandez and Jazmine, Alonso and Andres Kain.
