PRAGUE — The Lady Savages of Tecumseh raised their record to 14-1 Friday with Prague Tournament victories over Meeker (10-1), Tushka (5-1) and Woodward (8-2).
In the five-inning win over Meeker, Tecumseh piled up 10 hits to back the one-hit pitching effort of Channing Scallorn.
Scallorn fanned three and walked two.
Sierra Humphrey led Tecumseh offensively, going 3 of 4 with a triple and two singles. Scallorn added two singles, Franki Hull had a triple and Caitlin Bingham added a double.
Tecumseh tallied four runs in the first and third innings.
Opposite Tushka, Colbie Meeks of Tecumseh went the first two innings while Bingham went the final four.
Bingham, who was credited with the victory, didn’t permit a run while allowing three hits. She recorded six strikeouts and walked two.
Tecumseh chalked up eight hits as Suni Meely, Taylor Walker and Humphrey had two each.
Bingham also got the pitching win in the five-inning outing against Woodward. She gave up just two hits while fanning seven
Four Lady Savages — Bingham, Hull, Humphrey and Walker — hit home runs. Humphrey finished with two hits.
Tecumseh will collide with Chandler in a 4 p.m. tournament matchup today. Chandler is 18-1.
