JONES — Prague’s Red Devils were the latest Jones’ avalanche victims Friday night.
Top-ranked in Class 3A, Jones led Prague 50-0 at halftime en route to a 62-14 blitz.
Jones, 8-0 including a 4-0 mark in District 3A-2, has outscored its opponents 427-87.
The Longhorns amassed 460 yards while surrendering 195 to Prague.
Jones also didn’t commit a turnover while Prague finished with three.
Winning quarterback Brandon George scored the first three touchdowns on runs of 16, 9 and 22 yards. He also threw a 30-yard touchdown pass.
Jones didn’t punt in the game.
Prague scored both of its touchdowns in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run by EJ Zenon and an 18-yard gallop by Austin Lee.
Calvin Boyce headed Prague’s rushing efforts with 72 yards on 23 carries. Justin Morlan added 42 yards on five carries while Matt Headley added 26 yards on four carries.
Headley connected on 4 of 11 passes for 38 yards.
Tristin Jorgensen caught two passes for 13 yards for the victors. Teammates Trey Leep and Ray Embry caught a pass apiece.
Prague fell to 6-2, including a 2-2 district record.
Prague will travel to Bethel Thursday night for a district confrontation.
