ENID — Fourth-ranked Chisholm chalked up 324 rushing yards Friday night in blitzing Meeker 43-19 in a Class 2A first-round playoff encounter.

Chisholm, 11-0, led just 14-7 at halftime but outscored the Bulldogs 22-6 in the third quarter.

Chisholm prevailed despite turning the ball over four times — two interceptions and two fumbles.

Senior Landen Millican of Meeker intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble. Sophomore Noah Breedlove also posted a fumble recovery.

Dakota Jackson, who scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter, was Meeker’s top rusher with 63 yards on 17 carries.

Jackson also topped Meeker’s defenders with 16 tackles, nine of which were solo.

Elijah Bloomer recorded 12 tackles (7 solo) and also threw a 50-yard halfback scoring pass to River Jennings. Jennings caught three passes for 91 yards. Dakota Gabbert had three receptions for 45 yards.

Meeker’s other touchdown was a 16-yard Jonathan Jones’ reception from Jacob Martin in the fourth quarter.

Meeker committed two turnovers while finishing the season at 4-7 overall.
