MAUD — Propelled by a 583-yard offensive explosion, Maud routed Canadian 59-12 Friday night in a Class B first-round contest.,

Maud rolled up 280 rushing yards and 303 passing yards in running its record to 10-1.

Canadian, which concludes the season at 5-6, was limited to 21 yards on the ground and 120 through the air.

Quarterback Kash Bodkin completed 12 of 20 passes and was the game’s leading rusher with 97 yards, including touchdown runs of 9 and 42 yards.

Braylen Brewer caught six passes for 147 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown.

Ryan Bowers had touchdown runs of 20 and 9 yards and finished with 87 rushing yards.

Caleb Troxell caught three passes for 111 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown.

Maud advances to next weekend’s second round.

The Tigers led 34-0 at the intermission.

Canadian, a fourth-place finisher in the five-team District B-6, finishes the season 5-6.
