AMBER — Dale’s girls never trailed Friday night in registering a 48-23 victory over Amber-Pocasset.

Dale, 3-0, led 13-4 after one quarter and 24-10 at halftime.

Hannah Ash spearheaded Dale offensively with 18 points, five rebounds and three steals. Mikayla Rutland finished with six points, six rebounds and three steals.

Taylor Thompson accumulated five rebounds while Claire Chastain blocked five shots.

Carli Eubanks was the top scorer for the losers with nine points.

“We didn’t play very well,” said Dale coach Josh Forsythe.

Dale will be idle until Tuesday, Nov. 29 when it travels to Okarche.

“Okarche will probably be the No. 1 or No. 2 team in Class A when we play them,” Forsythe said. “It will be a tough test. We will have to play way better than we have been.
