GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association has named its National Championship field, and Oklahoma Baptist has received and accepted an at-large bid to the tournament. The National Championship will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29 thru Saturday, Dec. 3 in Kissimmee, Florida, at the Kissimmee Event Center.

Oklahoma Baptist, the No. 3 seed at the National Tournament, finished second after going 3-1 at the NCCAA Central Regional last week in Lakewood, Colorado. Rachel Richie and Sophia Couto were voted to the all-tournament team following a string of standout performances throughout the week.

The tournament will begin with round-robin pool play, and OBU has been drawn into Group B with No. 2 Campbellsville, No. 6 Southern Wesleyan and No. 7 Cincinnati Christian. The top two finishers in each group will advance to the semifinals on the evening of Friday, Dec. 2.

The Lady Bison (20-14) open up the NCCAA National Tournament on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. against No. 6-seeded Southern Wesleyan. They will play two matches that day, as they are also set to take on No. 7-seeded Cincinnati Christian at 6 p.m.
