CHANDLER – Tacie Sinegal led the Lady Lions to a 59-47 victory over Okemah Tuesday night to kick off their season.

The Lady Lions led 16-11 at the end of the first but were squeezed back to a 28-26 advantage at the half. A 13-3 run in the third catapulted Chandler well ahead and they held on for a 18-18 run in the fourth.

Sinegal had 14 points to lead the charge, followed by Blayne Solberg and Lauren Masquat with 13 and Neleigh Herring with 11. The girls were 22-32 from the courtesy mark as Solberg went 5-for-6 and Masquat was 7-9.

The Lady Lions (1-0) were listed No. 12 in Class 3A preseason rankings and host 2A Stroud Friday at 6:30.
