SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist rallied from 10 down to make a close game of it, but Arkansas Tech, which scored a pair of 30-point wins over the Lady Bison last season, held on for a 75-66 victory Thursday.
Down 39-29 at the half, OBU used a 19-12 third quarter and pulled to within three of the Golden Suns by the end of the quarter.
OBU took the lead less than a minute into the fourth quarter on a pair of free throws by Aliyah White, triggering a see-saw of nine lead changes and a 64-64 tie with 3:52 left after a Katy Custer basket.
That was the last Lady Bison field goal and Arkansas Tech finished on a 11-2 run.

Now 3-5 overall and 0-3 in the Great American Conference, the Lady Bison host Harding at 1 p.m., Saturday.
